Important Updates: UKC Washington Classic

The event is still on! Pre-entry only.

August 14, 2020

Email: classic@ukcdogs.com

On August 10, the state of Washington updated their regulations to prevent the spread of covid-19 to allow agricultural events, including dog shows. Prior to this announcement on Monday, it looked like the Washington Classic would not be able to go on as planned.

UKC is pleased to host this event after all. We are hard at work updating the necessary safety guidelines to match the new regulations in Washington state.

To accommodate these updates, we are changing the entry period. Entries for Washington Classic will now open on Wednesday, August 19, and will close on Friday, September 11 at 4:30pm EST. Please note that the Washington Classic will not have day of show entries available. Entry will be pre-entry only. Additionally, entries must be submitted via UKCs online entry system. Please do not mail entries.

In the event that regulations in Washington change once more before the event takes place, all submitted entry fees will be refunded.

Some additional changes to note:

  • Obedience and Agility will not be offered
  • The Novice Puppy and Veteran classes will not be offered

There will still be two conformation shows each day, and one Rally trial each day.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions at classic@ukcdogs.com. We will have more information available shortly, and appreciate your patience.
