How do I put my dog's pedigree in the ad?

For Coonhound Bloodlines, include the dog's UKC number, let us know you'd like to include a pedigree and we'll pull it from our records. For Hunting Retriever magazine, generally a copy of the dog's pedigree is required. We can add other registry titles to any UKC pedigree as long as you provide them.

If I submit hard copy photos, will they be returned?

If you've mailed hard copy photos, in order to be returned, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Typical return time is 30-60 days.

What type of photos work best in an ad?

Photos from your digital camera work best if they aren't blurry or cropped too closely. Cell phone photos can be hit or miss. Feel free to email us any photos prior to deadline and we'll let you know if they'll work!

Can you change the size/color of my photos?

Yes! We can alter a color photo to make it black and white and assuming the original photo is of high enough quality, we can also resize it as necessary.

Do I have to pay up front for my ad or can you bill me?

You can choose which option you prefer. To prepay, provide a credit card at the time of submission. To be billed, just provide your billing address and we'll send you an invoice. All ad payments must be paid by the first of the month following the issue in which you advertised (ads from the May issue must be paid by June 1) or late charges will apply.

Can I see a proof of my ad before it goes to print?

Sure! Just let us know when you submit your ad, and provide an email address where you'd like it sent. You'll have 24 hours to respond with any changes.
