General Information
PRE-ENTRY SPECIALS

ENTRY LIMITS
- Conformation - 120 per show
- Rally Obedience - 50 per trial
- Weight Pull - 40 per trial
SPECIAL EXHIBITIONS
- Best Total Dog in Show - All Total Dog Earners from the day are eligible to compete. Held after Show 2 each day.
- Best of the Best - All BIS Winners from Regular, Altered, Novice Puppy and Veteran are eligible to compete on Sunday after Best Total Dog in Show.
SPECIAL PRIZES
- Weight Pull - 28" Rosette for Judge's Choice to be awarded at the end of Trail 2 each day.
- Rally Obedience - 28" Rosette for Judge's Choice to be awarded at the end of Trail 2 each day. 28" Rosette for High Aggregate to be awarded at the end of Trial 2 on Sunday.
**NEW** PRAIRIES UNITED CELEBRATION OF EXCELLENCE
We're passionate about recognizing exhibitors who go the extra mile with their dogs. A portion of all entries will go into the prize pot! Opt in for an extra fee ($40) to compete for cash and ribbons. Points are calculated over the weekend from performance scores, conformation wins, and SPOT/CGN titles. Six placements are anticipated with an estimated 1st place prize of $672! Stay tuned for details on our page and keep an eye on the leaderboard at the event!
- 21" Rosettes and CASH prizes awarded after Show 2 or after Weight Pull Trial 2 Sunday, whichever ends last.
EVALUATIONS
- SPOT - $25 fee, Flat ribbon for passing
- CGN - $40, Flat ribbon for passing
REFUND POLICY
- Entry cancellations MUST be received in writing to "prairiesukc@gmail.com". Requests MUST include the dog's UKC number, registered name, breed, and event type. Cancellations received by any other method of communication will not be accepted.
- Eligible refunds will exclude service fees from online entry websites and PUKC will retain $5 per entry fee for the processing of entries. Refunds will be issued within 5 business days.
- Entries cancelled prior to the closing date for pre-entry or before limits have been reached will be refunded.
- In the case of a female coming into season and are entered in Rally Obedience or Weight Pull, a refund may be obtained by providing PUKC with a veterinarian's certificate verifying that the female came into season after the closing date. The certificate may be mailed or scanned and emailed to prairiesukc@gmail.com no later than the day prior to the event, or delivered by hand to the Event Secretary before the start of the Event.
- Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a veterinarian or judge, or barred from completion by action of the Event Committee or the United Kennel Club.
- Every effort will be made to find all duplicate entries before processing. However, if a duplicate entry is processed, no refund will be made.
- Entry overpayments may be donated to the general prize fund, or used as a credit towards DOS entry fee(s) if entry limits have not been reached.
- If it is impossible to open a complete show or trial due to pandemic, Acts of God, riots, civil disturbances, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, or other acts beyond the control of PUKC, no refund of entry fees will be made.
- If, in the opinion of the host club, the well-being of dogs, exhibitors or spectators is at risk due to extreme weather conditions such as but not limited to snowstorms, hurricanes, tornados, flooding, lightning or extreme heat, the host club may cancel or stop an event before completion. No refunds will be made in such cases.
- Prairies United Kennel Club, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property.
- Dogs MUST have a UKC Registration Number or Temporary Listing Number to be entered.
