Were excited to share an important update regarding Season 10 of the Dog of the Year program. To set the stage for an even bigger future, weve made the decision to shorten Season 10 as we prepare to transition to a full calendar-year format moving forward.

Traditionally, our Dog of the Year race has run from Nationals to Nationals. But beginning after Season 10, were shifting to a January-December format. This shift creates a cleaner championship structure and allows us to better prepare for Nationals while giving our Dog of the Year winners the recognition they deserve. We believe the calendar-year format will strengthen the Dog of the Year race, elevate Nationals, and continue raising the standard of competition.

Season 10 will be shorter but it will also be competitive, focused, and meaningful. Every event will matter as teams push toward earning the title. It wont just crown champions, it will set the tone for a new era. The new season will kick off in just a few weeks, and were looking forward to seeing how the competition takes shape and which teams rise to the occasion.

Ready to begin planning your path to the top of the standings? Visit the Dog of the Year page for more details and a schedule of events.
