KALAMAZOO, MICH., May 12, 2026 United Kennel Club (UKC) is pleased to once again welcome the public to the UKC Premier Nationals Dog Show, June 12-14 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at the Kalamazoo Expo Center and Fairgrounds, where admission is free, and parking is just $5 per vehicle.

This event features thousands of dog entries representing over 175 breeds. At UKCs Premier Nationals, expect to be wowed by high-flying canine athletes in the sport of dock jumping, amazed by highly trained agility dogs, and more! For anyone who enjoys dogs, this is a do not miss event. Take a seat ringside and cheer on your favorite breeds.

In addition to the excitement of dozens of dog sports and thousands of dogs to see, UKC Premier Nationals boasts more than one dozen dog supply vendors and food vendors throughout the weekend. Spectators are encouraged to come early, bring the whole family, and stay for the day to enjoy the fun! The event takes place rain or shine, daily from roughly 9 a.m. 3 p.m. For more information, please click here.

The UKC Premier Nationals Dog Show, with support from Eukanuba, the official performance dog nutrition partner of UKC; Rainwalk, the official pet insurance partner of UKC; and longtime local sponsor Discover Kalamazoo, is the local forum for UKC to showcase their philosophy of the Total Dog, in which a dog should not only have the beauty necessary for the traditional show ring but also the ability to display their athletic nature in a performance sport. To earn a coveted Total Dog award, dogs must place in a conformation and performance event during the weekend, which proves them as well-rounded athletes. Due to this spotlight on dually capable canines, the UKC Premier Nationals, which began in 1994, is regarded as a benchmark event for dog enthusiasts seeking to compete among the best in the world of competitive dog sporting events.

Please note: UKC celebrates dogs every day, but spectators are asked to please leave their dogs at home as only dogs pre-entered in the event are allowed on the event grounds. Visit the UKC informational booth in the Main Expo Center with any questions on how to get your dog entered for next year.

Guided by the belief that dogs make a difference by being the best partner a human can have in the field, on the job, or in a competition event, UKC is a community for people and dogs to pursue excellence together. Founded in 1898, UKC has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of Dogs That Do More, and their owners, by providing essential resources to help owners and breeders make informed decisions. The dog-human bond is celebrated through family-friendly programs highlighting the instincts and heritage of purebred and mixed-breed dogs alike at over 18,000 licensed events annually.
