2025 Triple Crown Winner: GRNITECH(4) 'PR' Rose's Wild Dreamin' Echo

Owned by Logan Rose, Todd Rose, and Jeff Wilson

October 9, 2025

2025 Triple Crown Winner: Echo

The UKC Triple Crown Challenge, sponsored by United Kennel Club, rewards the outstanding coonhound who earns the most Triple Crown points at the Winter Classic, Autumn Oaks, and the World Championship. The winner receives $3,000 and a jacket courtesy of UKC. A dog must have participated in all three events to be eligible for the award.

After the first leg of the Triple Crown, the double cast winners at the Winter Classic held in Batesville, Mississippi would set the pace for the 2025 Triple Crown Challenge. Two Black & Tans, three Blueticks, eight English, two Redbones, seven Treeing Walkers, and two X-Breds made up the 24 frontrunners, all tied with 100 Triple Crown points.

Then came the second leg at Autumn Oaks in Richmond, Indiana. Out of the 24 double cast winners at Winter Classic, only two hounds were able to add a cast win and 50 points to their resume at Oaks. Those two hounds were 1) NITECH PR Crane Creeks Nitetyme Angel, ENG, F, 3, Jason Snellgrove, Crane, MO, and 2) GRNITECH(4) PR Roses Wild Dreamin Echo, TW, M, 6, Logan Rose, Todd Rose, Jeff Wilson, Tyner, KY. At this point, there were 26 other hounds tied with 100 points that were still within striking distance going into the last leg of the yearly series.

While preparing a section about the Triple Crown for the weekly bulletin, I realized that one of the hounds, Angel, had not qualified for the World Championship, therefore ending her run at the Triple Crown and giving Echo the clear lead in the race. With all eyes on the Rogersville, Tennessee Zone, Echo put the race to bed early with a cast win on Friday with 175+ and a cast win on Saturday with 450+, punching his ticket to the World Finals. For the first time in my UKC tenure, the Triple Crown Winner was crowned before we even left for the World Finals.

After a good run in 2023 and losing the Triple Crown in 2024 on a tiebreaker to the winner, it was time for the well deserving GRNITECH(4) PR Roses Wild Dreamin' Echo to take home the top prize and be crowned the 2025 Triple Crown Champion!

Congratulations to Logan Rose, Todd Rose, and Jeff Wilson of Tyner, Kentucky on their accomplishment with GRNITECH(4) PR Roses Wild Dreamin' Echo, the 2025 UKC Triple Crown Champion. They join the following elite group of hounds and owners who have won this award:
