Meet our Bench Show judge, Autumn Bingham:

Autumn Bingham Youth Nationals 2024

Autumn Bingham

My name is Autumn Bingham (Beland) and I currently reside in central Iowa with my husband Jacob and our son Colt. I grew up in Bedford, Pennsylvania where I have shown and hunted coonhounds my whole life. I believe my first ever UKC Youth Nationals was in 2005 where it took place in Medina, Ohio. I showed an English female named Blueberry and a Treeing Walker male we called Ecstatic. I did not place but a beautiful Treeing Walker male, Tree Picking Magic Man handled by Cole Vanover took home the win. I was nine-years old at the time and absolutely loved all of it, and not placing made me want to work at it even harder.

I went on to show and hunt at every single Youth Nationals event up until 2012. I placed in multiple Youth Nationals events and also took home the 2008 and 2012 Overall Youth National Bench Show Championships. In 2008 with my little sister Amelia's Treeing Walker female, Angel, and in 2012 with her English male, Bullberry, who I still show grandpups out of today. Bullberry was a pup out of Blueberry who I showed at my first ever Youth Nationals Event.

I still participate in a large number of coonhound events and still have the passion I had back in the 2000s. I now help my husband run the Iowa State Youth event and love to help the youth coming up in the sport. I am honored that UKC has chosen me to judge this event as it means a lot to me. I cannot wait to help the next generation in the sport and hopefully provide them with some tips and tricks that others have taught me throughout the years. Once again thank you for considering me for this event.

Guided by the belief that dogs make a difference by being the best partner a human can have in the field, on the job, or in a competition event, UKC is a community for people and dogs to pursue excellence together. Founded in 1898, UKC has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of Dogs That Do More, and their owners, by providing essential resources to help owners and breeders make informed decisions. The dog-human bond is celebrated through family-friendly programs highlighting the instincts and heritage of purebred and mixed-breed dogs alike at over 18,000 licensed events annually.
