2. Entry Fee Options: Approved clubs may schedule one of the two following options.
a. $100 entry fee (pays out 75% of entry income to its winners)
b. $200 entry fee (pays out 85% of entry income to its winners)

3. License and Recording Fees: Super Slam Events require a $50 UKC license fee. Recording fees of $2 per dog must be included with the Event Report and all scorecards mailed to UKC.

4. Eligibility and Entries: Any UKC registered coonhound, regardless of degree, is eligible to be entered in a Super Slam Event. All entries are taken on the day of the event. No advanced entry reservation required. No entries may be taken after the advertised entry deadline.

5. Running Rules: UKC Nite Hunt Honor Rules, as they apply to Nite and Grand Nite Champion casts, are in effect with exception to those specifically outlined in item number 6 below.

6. Rules and Policy Changes: The following changes apply to Super Slams only. They are provided in the clubs Event Packet for each cast.
a. Hunt Times: All first-round casts hunt for 90 minutes. A dog must hunt the whole 90 minutes to meet cast winner requirements. All Final casts will hunt for 60 minutes.
b. Tree Position Change: Two minutes after first dog is declared treed, second (75) and third (50) tree positions become unavailable. Any dog(s) declared treed after two minutes will receive 25 tree points.
c. Cast Winner Requirements: A dog must hunt the entire 90 minutes of the hunt to be eligible for a cast win, prize money, or to be eligible to advance to the final cast. A dog winning its cast with a total score of zero or less must have met one of the following requirements to be considered a cast winner:
I. Have plus or circle tree points recorded on the scorecard.
II. Positive strike points recorded on the scorecard for coon caught on ground.

7. Judges: Utilizing hunting or non-hunting judges in the first-round shall be decided by the host club on the day of the event. The Final Cast will have one (1) or two (2) non-hunting judges (clubs discretion).

8. Prize Money Distribution: First, all first-round cast winners receive amount of entry fee. Second, all remaining prize money is awarded to those dogs in the final cast. Prize money will be paid by the host club in accordance with the Super Slam Payout Breakdown Form provided in the Event Packet. The distribution of prize money is strictly the responsibility of the host club and not he responsibility of the United Kennel Club. UKC reserves the right to set prize amounts and control distribution of prize money at its sole judgment and discretion.
a. Splitting Prize Money in Final Cast: Super Slam prize money may only be split if majority of final cast agrees to do so.

9. Final Cast: The top four (4) cast winners will advance to the final cast. Dogs in the final cast will be placed according to total score, including up to 400 minus. If tie cannot be broken, dogs remaining tied will split prize money. If all dogs in final cast scratch, purse will be divided equally between all dogs. See Super Slam Payout Breakdown Form (provided in the event packet) for other scratched dog breakdowns.

10. Championship Points and Wins: Those dogs in the Final Cast who won their first-round cast with a total score of plus points receive UKC Championship points or wins. Dogs in the final cast who did not win their first-round cast with a total score of plus points are not eligible for Championship points or wins.
a. Registered dogs will receive a First-Place win and 40 Championship points.
b. Nite Champions will receive one (1) win towards their Grand Nite degree.
c. Grand Nite Champions will receive a Grand Nite Champion win.

11. Host Club Responsibilities:
a. The Host Club must use a UKC Licensed Master of Hounds to be in charge of the event. The Event Report is filled out by the event official based on highest scores in final cast placing first. Dogs winning their first-round cast without a total score of plus points will not receive any UKC Championship points and should not be noted on the Event Report. In the event that the Final Cast did not hunt, the Event Report is filled out based on the highest plus-point scores those final cast dogs had in round-one.
b. All scorecards must be mailed to UKC along with the Official Event Report.
c. Provide UKC with a photo of the Final Cast. Photos may be emailed to agingerich@ukcdogs.com.
