UKC Turns 119 Years Old! Use the hashtag #ukcdogs on social media to show us how you're celebrating!

Founded by Chauncey Bennett on February 10, 1898, UKC has grown to be the largest all-breed performance dog registry in the world. As an international registry, we register dogs from all 50 states and 25 foreign countries.

Headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan, since its inception, UKC used to operate out of the Bennett household before moving to an office building downtown. By 1979, the current UKC building was constructed at 100 E. Kilgore Rd.

For over a century, our family-friendly events and programs have highlighted canine bonds, instincts and heritage while maintaining the virtue of our pedigrees. Through these efforts, we give Honor to Whom Honor is Due ™.
