Bragging Rights Promise needed one Best Female to finish her Championship so I took her to the TFT UKC show in Ixonia on 2/11/12. I told Judy that due to the NFGRC banquet being that night we would hopefully finish the first of the two shows and then I could come home for the banquet. Promise had different plans. In Show 1 she won the Gun Dog Group and then won BEST IN SHOW! So the other Golden Retrievers would have a chance to get the points, I was going to pull her from Show 2, but they allowed move ups, so we moved her to the Champions Class. Promise repeated her wonderful performance again by winning the Gun Dog Group and then BEST IN SHOW AGAIN! What a day for this girl who is only 13 months old, and who showed her heart out for 7 different performances in the show ring! Judy has done a wonderful job training this show puppy and I am honored to be on the end of the lead with one of the "fabulous fifteen" as we affectionately call the littermates of Ruby's last litter. Kiara Stumps the Critics! This past August, our 10 year old lab mix, Kiara (UROC, UAG II, UCD) earned her UROC title. When we got her at 1 1/2 years of age, after spending her entire life crated or chained to her dog house, she had been declared "untrainable" by her previous owners. After taking a few classes, we started competing, and she earned titles in Obedience, Agility, & Rally Obedience. A special thanks to UKC for allowing our mixed breeds to enjoy all the fun & excitement of competition! UROC UAGII UCD Kiara Owned by: Darlene Incelli Having a Grand Ole time! GRCH Stormy C's Tina of Balewater, co-owned by Sue Schultze and Steve Trojak, earned 22 top ten points at the Courtland, VA shows in December. Tina earned her GRCH title in 2 weekend shows. Tina earned all but 8 of her points in 6 weekend shows from September to December, to finish with 71 points. in the Top 10. Currently, Tina sits at 2nd place with her new wins. Thank you to all who helped fill champion classes and shows! Having a grand is a team effort by many people! Went Best in show, Bear show 1 and Corona show 2 on November 22, 2011. Very proud of those two. Bear lives with me (Rose Northcutt) and Corona lives with Bernard and Ruth Atkins.
