UKC Registration Requirements A dog registered with UKC will have either an Application for Permanent Registration

For a dog that is not already registered with UKC and whose parents* are not both UKC registered, we offer Single Registration

The rules for Single Registration for the American Black and Tan Coonhound breed are as follows:
1. Confirm the open enrollment period for the AB&TCHA
Enrollment with AB&TCHA will be open September 1, 2010 through October 31, 2010.
2. During the open enrollment period contact the National Breed Coordinator for all requirements, applications and nearest inspector.

3. Fees and Rules for Single Registration
Dog must meet the UKC American Black & Tan Coonhound Breed Standard
United Kennel Club Application Fee is $40.00
AB&TCHA fee $10.00
Must be a member of the AB&TCHA to apply for single registration
Complete three generation pedigree required
Dog must pass inspection process
five color photos, 2 of each side and 1 from the front, all in a standing postion

* If the parents of your dog are both UKC registered American Black and Tan Coonhounds, the Owner of the dam at the time of breeding may submit the Coonhound Single Registration Application directly to UKC. Or a signed statement from the Owner of the dam at the time of breeding deferring registration to a new owner may be submitted with the Coonhound Single Registration application directly to UKC, Please contact our Registration Department at (269)343-9020 for more details.
