Every Dog Has Its Day

Our opening day was this past Saturday. So it was the first day of REAL hunting for our pup, CH Evita de Agua Limpa TAN. She had to search real hard and long before she found this rooster. Evita and Doug were real proud of themselves. I put him in the pot (the bird, not Doug) and we had him for dinner.
Ain't it a pain when work interfers with your hunting?

Trial Results by Peter Wax & Butch Nelson (07/07/2009): On May 2nd the second annual spring liberated UKC pointing dog trial began under a light covering of soft snow. The snow gave the already scenic beauty of the Bench Land an almost mystical appearance of beauty and newness.
