COONHOUND BLOODLINES Classified Advertising
30¢ per word, $5 minimum. Classified ads may be submitted via fax, e-mail, or regular mail. There is no billing for classifieds. Payment must accompany the ad.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, check, or money order. Please do not send cash as we cannot be held responsible for stolen mail.
All classifieds appearing in COONHOUND BLOODLINES will also be posted on UKC’s website.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Please include a stamped, self-addressed envelope to ensure the return of your valuable photos.
- Photographs in the form of 35 mm glossy prints reproduce the best. Please note: do not cut your photos. If you want them cropped, just indicate how you want them cropped. We will crop them electronically without harming the original photo.
- Photos sent via e-mail will only be accepted under the following parameters: Black & white photos must be scanned at no less than 300 dpi and sent in tif format. Color photos must be scanned at no less than 600 dpi and sent in tif or jpeg format.
- We prefer to not use printouts of low-end digital photos. We will evaluate any that are sent in and notify you if we question the quality.
- IMPORTANT ... Advertising not paid for within 30 days will be assessed a 1 1/2% late charge per month. The charge for a returned check is $25 per item.
DESIGN ASSISTANCE
Design assistance is available at no extra charge. UKC has a talented and experienced design staff that will cater to your specific layout ideas. You can preview your ad by e-mail or fax.
DEADLINE INFORMATION - EDITORIAL & ADVERTISING
COONHOUND BLOODLINES is a monthly magazine. The deadline for each issue is always 4:30 Eastern Time on the 1st of the month, one month prior to the respective issue.
For example, the deadline for the July issue would be June 1. (In the event that the deadline falls on a weekend or a holiday for which the UKC office is closed, the deadline will be the first business day after the 1st of the month. For example, when June 1 falls on a Saturday, material will be accepted until 4:30 Eastern Time on Monday, June 3.) Deadlines are strictly followed so that production goes smoothly, which in turn allows COONHOUND BLOODLINES to be mailed on its scheduled mailing date of approximately the 25th of each month.
We strongly recommend sending your editorial and/or ad material 7-10 business days prior to the deadline; Priority Mail or Next Day Air anytime after that to ensure we have your material by deadline. Any editorial and/or ad material received after the deadline will be held over for the next issue.

This Weekend At UKC
The Coonhound Department at United Kennel Club is pleased to announce their newest Chartered Breed Association, American Leopard Breeders Association recognized in May of 2008, will be hosting their First Annual American Leopard Hound Days. The event will be held in Sparta, Illinois at the fairgrounds. (More Information).
Also, on this same weekend will be the South Carolina State Championship to be held in Darlington, South Carolina. Both American Leopard Hound Days and the South Carolina State Championship are on the 2010 Purina Series schedule also known as Purina Points Events.(More Information).
