Klicker is the only Super Dog to Total Dog with a BIMBS/Obedience, and one of only two to Total Dog with a BIMBS in all of UKC. He is also the only UKC dog in history to Total Dog in three working events at a single show - he did Obedience (dog sport), earned his first Grand Agility leg, and pulled 32 times his body weight at the 2006 Premier. He is the only UKC-only dog to hold Total Dog awards in all four working events: agility, dog sport, weight pull, and obedience. |

This Weekend At UKC
Bird Dogs in Canada - The UKC/HRC Upland Hunt Tests are designed to mimic realistic hunting situations as closely as possible. In keeping with the Hunting Retriever Club philosophy, “Conceived by hunters for hunters,” dogs are tested on their ability to quarter a field, flush a game bird, track a scent and retrieve a downed bird to hand. The Lake Ontario Hunting Retriever Club will host two upland hunts this weekend in Oshawa, Ontario - a great chance for anyone pursuing their Upland Hunter (UH) title. Come by and check out the fun!

The American Pit Bull Terrier is UKC's second most widely registered breed. Originally developed during the nineteenth century to be a combination of the gameness of the terrier with the strength and athleticism of the Bulldog, the APBT embodies all of the virtues attributed to great warriors: strength, indomitable courage, and gentleness with loved ones. The first APBT ever registered belonged to UKC founder, C. Z. Bennett, who assigned UKC registration number 1 to his own APBT, Bennett's Ring in 1898. |
