Congratulations to a new Champion!
Sasha finished her Champion Title in only a few shows out. Then her first time in the Champion class she took a Win under Honorable Judge Ms Donna Rommelfaenger. Her Second Champion win was under Honorable Judge Mrs. Tina Camp who also gave her BOB over current/previous Top Ten dogs! Her Third win was at Premier on Friday at the Specialty where she swept the champion class under Honorable Judge Ms Judy Threlfall. This was her Final show before her passing away on July 7, 2008 due to an object in her intestine. She is greatly missed by everyone who met her! RIP Sweet Sasha!

Congratulations to a new Champion!
I started showing Titus last fall in UKC. Titus also finished his championship in his first three shows and won going BOB over many Grand's and achieved his Grand Champion in the next five shows he attended winning over steep Texas competition. He is currently the number one Rhodesian Ridgeback in the US (UKC).
My boy's biggest handicap has been me! He is my first show dog and we've grown in the show world together. I feel very fortunate to show in an organization where an owner handler can achieve so much. I am happy to announce Titus is now: BIS GRCH Spring Valley's Extra Duty for Titus

This Weekend At UKC

Bird Dogs in Canada - The UKC/HRC Upland Hunt Tests are designed to mimic realistic hunting situations as closely as possible. In keeping with the Hunting Retriever Club philosophy, “Conceived by hunters for hunters,” dogs are tested on their ability to quarter a field, flush a game bird, track a scent and retrieve a downed bird to hand. The Lake Ontario Hunting Retriever Club will host two upland hunts this weekend in Oshawa, Ontario - a great chance for anyone pursuing their Upland Hunter (UH) title. Come by and check out the fun!

Redbone Coonhound

The Redbone was the second coonhound breed to be registered with UKC, the first being registered in 1902, two years after the American Black & Tan. The Redbone is known to be a well-balanced breed, making them adaptable to various types of hunting and terrain. Their agility benefits them when hunting in fenced country or steep, rocky ground. Redbones are known to make excellent water dogs.
