PART ONE: STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Article 1. Applicability of Rules. The following rules have been established to credit those dogs that represent the minimum natural hunting qualities desired in the pointing breeds, as measured by the Natural Ability Test (hereinafter designated as "TAN"). The Judge's decisions on all matters pertaining to the TAN are final.
Article 2. Purpose of TAN. The object of the TAN is to evaluate the natural hunting ability of the pointing breeds.
