Important Cur and Feist Event Cast Breakdown Information
Cast Breakdown Information. Each Squirrel and Coon Event must have a Champion and Grand Champion cast. In order to receive credit, a Nite Champion, Grand Nite Champion, Squirrel Champion or Grand Squirrel Champion must have a total plus score and hunt the entire event. This is to apply even if only one Champion or Grand Champion is present to be entered in these casts. A Champion or Grand Champion cannot hunt in open competition. They must hunt in their own class, not lower.

The Cur / Feist Program actually offers three different performance events for evaluating these hard working tree dogs. The most popular of the events offered is the licensed Squirrel Hunt.
