Judges
There will be two licensed Judges responsible for judging each class. The decision of the Judges to place or eliminate any hound is final.
Judges may be questioned by handlers immediately following the announcement of winners. It is recommended that one of the two Judges address owners and spectators immediately prior to or following the announcement of winners with oral comments as to the reasoning for placements.
Alternate Judges may be used in emergency situations only. An example would be if the advertised Judge does not show up or if a class is split. With the exception of the actual license, alternate Judges must meet the same requirements and follow the same guidelines as licensed Judges. When it is necessary for the club to use an alternate Judge, the host club must submit a short, written explanation as to the reason that an alternate Judge appears on the trial report.
