Bing's Tess Wins Southern National Redbone Days | |
Cedar Grove, North Carolina has been the home for the National Redbone Association's annual Southern Redbone Championship now for a good many years. Last weekend's event has been reported as "another good one with a great turnout".
As it turned out, the hunt winner may very well have been the oldest dog in the whole hunt! Now Dual Grand Champion and at the ripe old age of nine, 'PR' Bing's Tess was named the Overall Nite Hunt Champion. Tess made a good showing in the Final Four at the Grand American and now has backed it up with the overall win at Cedar Grove for owner Donnie Frazier of Whitakers, North Carolina and handler Andy Harris.
NITECH 'PR' Happy Go Country Miles, a five year old, owned by Bruce Brenning of Chillicothe, Ohio was named the Opposite Sex Winner.
CCH CH 'PR' B&L's Bolt Action Preacher Man was named the Overall Bench Show Winner. Preacher is owned by Leigh and Brandon Tedder of Hartsville, South Carolina.
