750 Plus Enter Southeastern Treeing Walker Days! | |
The Rowan County Fairgrounds in Salisbury, North Carolina will be a-buzz, for what is considered one of the nations top five major events, with coonhounds and hound enthusiasts from all over the country this coming weekend. The latest reports suggest over 750 coonhounds have pre-entered for the nite hunts alone for the Southeastern Treeing Walker Association's Annual Event!
The event will kick off on Thursday with the Allen Shoe Memorial Hunt. This hunt is open to Treeing Walker Coonhounds only. Friday and Saturday's events, both Nite Hunts and Bench Shows, will be open to all UKC registered coonhound breeds. Both Friday and Saturday's events will be Purina Points events.
Representatives of the United Kennel Club will be on hand Friday and Saturday at the UKC booth in the headquarters building. We'll be taking COONHOUND BLOODLINES subscriptions, registration transfers, specials on DNA profiling and answering any questions you may have relative to the UKC. Be sure to stop by the UKC booth and see Allen Gingerich and Field Rep; Elba Neat. They'll be happy to help you out with anything or even to just shoot the breeze.We look forward to seeing everyone in Salisbury this coming weekend!
