2010 UKC World Coonhound Championship Zones and Finals Locations Announcement-

The Coonhound Department is pleased to announce the following zone locations for the semifinals of the 2010 UKC World Coonhound Nite Championship. Regional Qualifying Events will run from January through August where a placement at the event will qualify the dog for a ticket to the zones.

There will once again be a total of eight zone locations across the country whereas those who qualify may choose the zone of their choice in which to enter. This includes the Western Zone which will be held on the same weekend as all other zones in 2010. The date for all zones is September 17 and 18, 2010.

The Finals will be held the following weekend September 23rd - 25th at the Whitley County Fairgrounds in Columbia City, Indiana and hosted by the Whitley County Coonhunters Association. This area is known for its great raccoon population and will be an excellent location and facility for the Finals. The Host Club has held several major events throughout the years including Breed Day Events as well as the World Championship Finals in 2000. We look forward to a great 2010 World Championship from the zones all the way through the Finals!
