We are currently processing registration applications that were received as of March 4, 2014.
Application for Permanent Registration: A temporary application used to permanently register a dog that has been litter registered.
Permanent Registration Certificate: An official certificate that is issued once the application for permanent registration is submitted.
Application for Single Registration: Single Registration is a method for purebred dogs from other recognized registries to become UKC registered.
Limited Privilege: Limited Privilege Registration is a method for mix bred dogs, purebred dogs of unknown pedigree or purebred dogs with disqualifying faults to become registered. These dogs must be spayed or neutered and can compete in Performance Events and Junior Showmanship.
The seller must sign the certificate exactly as it appears on the front. If the dog is registered in an “and” partnership, both co-registrants must sign.
The seller must provide the appropriate date of sale.
If the certificate is signed by the seller(s) but no purchase date is provided, then the date the transfer is received at UKC will be listed as the purchase date.
The new registrant(s) would then complete their information in the appropriate sections of the application.
Please note: A dog's name cannot be changed if the dog has registered offspring with UKC or attained a UKC title.
