LITTER SIRED BY A NON-UKC REGISTERED SIRE
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is the Litter Registration Application for a Litter Sired by a Non-UKC Registered Sire?
A: The Litter Registration Application for a Litter Sired by a Non-UKC Registered Sire is for a litter whelped by a UKC Registered Dam and sired by a Registered Sire of the same breed from a UKC acknowledged registry. Previously, puppies could not be UKC litter registered unless both parents were UKC registered. If the sire for instance was not UKC registered (but was registered with a UKC acknowledged Registry), the offspring needed to be individually single registered. This new litter registration option is offered as a convenience to breeders to in essence single register an entire litter!
