Sinfad's Bridge Opal 'Topaz' the Best of the Best (By Tom Dafnis)

09/20/2013: Topaz’s grandmother “Sinfad’s Casey May” is out of plantation stock from the Thomasville, GA area. She was bred to an All Age shooting dog that belonged to a dog trainer friend that ran a hunting operation for a large private plantation there. Her blood lines go back to some of the big running All Age dogs 30 years ago that are in the Hall of Fame today.

A Field Trial in the Land of Canaan

02/01/2013: The Epagneul Breton Gun Dog Club of Georgia held its first field trials of 2013 the weekend of January 12-13, open to all pointing breeds, at Canaan Farms in Pine Mountain, GA.

Midwest Epagneul Breton Gun Dog Club

03/23/2012: On Saturday and Sunday, March 10th and 11th, 2012, the Midwest Epagneul Breton Gun Dog Club held their first ever field trials and T.A.N. The AVAD Hunt Club,www.avadhuntclub.com, in Coon Rapids, Iowa graciously hosted the event on their rolling agriculture and pasture land.

Portuguese Pointer Club Fall Trials

10/06/2011: The Portuguese Pointer Club of America held its most recent UKC field trials and TANs on September 24 & 25, 2011 at the Sugar Brook Field Trial Area in Plainfield, CT. This was the Club’s first event using this venue and first time hosting two consecutive days of trialing. Despite some heavy late summer cover, unexpected warm and muggy weather and an unbelievable mosquito and biting fly invasion, the weekend proved to be another successful event for the PPCA.
