Bragging Rights

My nine-month-old Mountain Cur, Walnut Ridge Rebel Yell, went Best In Show under Joseph Gubry at the Crossroads Canine Club show on November 12, 2016. I think they may be a first for the breed. He also earned his Championship degree over the weekend. He is a hunting dog as well as a family pet, and trees both raccoon and squirrel. The win photo was taken by Images by Janice. The other I took while hunting him.

Super Dog 128

UWP UGRACH2 UCD CH URO2 Crimson's Criostail Blue Stare
Siberian Husky Female
Owned by Tina Marie McGinnis & Charlotte McGinnis of South Bend, Indiana
Bred by Linda Burns

Crimson started as a 4-H dog with Tina. She was trained and shown in Obedience, Showmanship and Agility, and excelled in all of them, and received many awards in three years.

After Tina aged out of 4-H, we found UKC events! Crimson excels in Agility (it's her favorite) and has ranked in All Star Agility for four years in a row. She has also achieved Total Dog with Rally multiple times.

Tina and I have enjoyed showing her together, and we believe Crimson is the first Siberian Husky to have Super Dog distinction! We earned Super Dog on October 11, 2016.

SUPER DOG 127

UWP UCD URO2 UGRACH3 GRCH Wheatcroft's Lucky Shamrock SPOT

(URO1 CH Wheatcroft's Silverado x CH Morningstars Megan @ Wheatcroft)

Shetland Sheepdog

Owned by Kim Smith of Westville, Indiana

At the tender age of 2½ years of age, UWP UCD URO2 UGRACH3 GRCH Wheatcroft's Lucky Shamrock SPOT attained Super Dog Status. He came into this world four days early. Guess he couldn't wait to see the world. Bred, owned, and handled by me.

This little dog has done everything I have asked of him, with gusto. He earned his Championship title at the age of 10 months. He earned his AG1 title just over one year of age. From there to date, he has earned Ag2, RO1, RO2, GRCH, UACH, UCD, SPOT, ACHX, and UGRACH. In October of 2016, we went for Weight Pull; did three trials to get his UWP title, then one more time to pull 396 pounds for his first five points.

Along the line, he has taken multiple group placements, a Reserve Best In Multi-Breed Show, several Total Dogs, and a High in Trial for Rally.

I am so honored to have this dog in my life, and can't wait to see what he wants to do next.

Ultra Dog 24

UWP URO1 UCD UJJ UAGII WHISPERING ECHOS S'MORES
Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois)
Owned by Melissa La Mere-Dragovich of Cokato, Minnesota

Max, aka Moosey, is our big boy (and big marshmallow!). He came into rescue four years ago when he was three years old, and quickly made himself right at home. Max is about the most easy-going, sweet, chill Malinois you'll ever meet, hence his name.

He has humored me in every sport I've asked him to do. He has qualified for several Dock Jumping championships, and is even a national champion in one venue. He has competed at national level Rally events and is a multi-High In Trial Rally dog. We are continuing his Obedience, Rally, Agility, Disc, Dock Jumping, and IPO careers.

He's a wonderful dude, and he adds so much character to our home. Good job, Moosey!

She currently also has 35 points towards her UWPCH which we hope to finish the first weekend in July, and will be working towards her UGAII, UR03 and then UROC and URX.
