UKC would like to say thank you to our service members, our veterans and their families. Veterans Day originally was a day to honor Armistice Day - the end of World War I. In 1954, after having been through both World War II and the Korean War, Congress amended the act, making November 11 a day to honor American veterans of all wars. Once again, from UKC to you, thank you!
