Nosework Comes to the United Kennel Club!
Questions should be directed to scheduling@ukcdogs.com

July 1, 2014 – The United Kennel Club is very happy to announce that we will start taking scheduling requests for Nosework events. The UKC Dog Events Department will be officially licensing UKC Nosework events starting January 1, 2015.

At this time the United Kennel Club Dog Events Department is diligently working with Karen Shivers and Andrew Ramsey to finalize the program. Announcements regarding the final rules and titling structure will be published as they are completed. Please continue to watch the UKC website and social media pages for the most up to date information.

If your club has applied and has been approved to host licensed Nosework events you may begin the scheduling procedure at this time. All scheduling requests must be submitted to scheduling@ukcdogs.com. All requests for scheduling should be made at least 24 weeks in advance and received by the Application Deadline date. The Application Deadline dates can be found in the Official UKC Rules for Dog Events.

In order to process a scheduling request the club should submit the following information:

    · Name of Club

    · Club ID #

    · City and State of trial

    · Date(s) of the trial

    · How many and what type of trial per day

The United Nosework Association is still the governing body of this program until further notice. All questions regarding judging or holding events in this interim period should be directed to Karen Shivers or Andrew Ramsey via the United Nosework Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/255675937883102/.

We look forward to bringing you Nosework as a UKC titling event! We appreciate your support and enthusiasm for this new program and we thank you for your patience as we finalize the details.
