The stage is set for the 2014 National All-Star Chase! A star studded field of 20 contenders make up the field of All-Age hounds. These are the hounds that finished in the top four of their region in 2013 All-Star Series. Additionally, four wildcards entered into the Chase by way of most points earned who did not finish in the top four of their region.

10 of the top Juniors in the country will have their own National Series. These are hounds that were litter registered and were less than two years of age during the 2013 calendar. This field of ten 2012 babies boasts the cream of the crop where young hounds are concerned. The All-Star Series gave them a platform to showcase their above average abilities. Several of them already had great success at major events in 2013. It will be interesting to see how they will fare for honors of being the most consistent cast winner in a three-event national series.

The National All-Star Chase kicks off at the ELIMINATOR in February followed by NHBA Days in March. The Final leg of the series will be the UKC Hunting Beagle Nationals in April. The format is simple. The rules are simple. A cast win is worth 10 points. Category wins are a bonus worth an additional five points. The hound with the most points at the conclusion will be named the National All-Star Chase Champion!

The United Kennel Club extends a sincere thank you to each owner who supported the Inaugural All-Star Series. It turned out to be a very competitive race that exceeded our expectations. Congratulations to each one of the following owners who have a hound in the Chase. We wish you all the best of luck!
