As the weather has improved over the country, so has the interest in UKC Hunt Tests. Hardly a week goes by without a new club joining the ranks of those hosting these unique events.

Of note is the new way we list the Hunt Tests, both in COONHOUND BLOODLINES and on our website, ukcdogs.com. You will find the Hunt Tests conveniently listed with all the other upcoming UKC Licensed Coonhound Events. This has been in effect since our May issue so many of you are probably aware of this change. This is something you, our customer, have asked for and we have listened. Hopefully this will make it more convenient for you to find the Hunt Tests in your area.

Our website, as always, has all the information you need to get your club started having Hunt Tests. Did you know, though, that you can also read some first-hand experiences from clubs and handlers who have held/participated in the Hunt Tests? A quick journey over to the Coonhound section of our message forum is all you need to do to hear from others who have been happy with their Hunt Tests experiences. If your club needs that extra little motivation to start having the tests, maybe this will do.

Of course, if you have a note you’d like us to see about the Hunt Tests, we’d love to hear about it. You could have your hound’s picture right here in this article for all of our subscribers to see.

The HTX Hunts are great. One dog at a time. No arguments. Good for beginners. Shows if you’ve got a real coon dog or not.
