Effective September 1st, 2012

Agility Obstacles – Descriptions and Specifications – REVISED.

There is an insert being added to the current UKC Agility Rule Book with the effective date of July 1, 2011. This insert can be downloaded by going to the Dog Events Department page and clicking on the Rules link. The UKC Agility Rule book can be found there.

Here is the link directly to the PDF version of the Agility Rules: http://res.ukcdogs.com/pdf/2011AgilityRulebook.pdf direct access. The insert can be printed and added directly to the hard copy book.

These changes were made to allow UKC clubs to keep their equipment up to date with the current developments in materials being used and distributed throughout the country and to allow flexibility in the construction of obstacles. All changes are specified in bold and italic text.

Any equipment that is currently being used and falls under the old specifications will be grandfathered in and will still be allowed in UKC agility competition until the obstacle needs to be replaced.
