06/03/2008: Spring Pointing Dog Trial At Hyalite KennelThe view from Hyalite Kennels is a breath taking sea of rolling prairie interspersed with rabbit brush and bull pine covered domes. Gazing into the vastness it is easy to imagine an earlier time, but when the pickup trucks begin rumbling down the dusty road hauling noisy dogs and orange clad handlers you are brought back to modern days, and when your name and dog are called the immediate present.

05/01/2008: 2008 Southwest Georgia French Brittany ClassicThe classic got off to a slow start this year but came out looking good in the end. We were again very fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the W. C. Bradley Plantation in Omaha, GA for our annual field trial. Our judges for this year were Head Judge Mr. Butch Nelson, from MT, who was assisted by Mark Dinsmore from Minnesota. They did an outstanding job of making the best out of a “Blue bird day.” As usual the grounds were beautifully prepared by Mr. Dan Fletcher the Resource manager for W.C. Bradley. Of course we can’t forget to thank Mr. Miller and Mr. Turner of the Bradley Company for their allowing us to use the facilities.
