Hidden Valley Obedience Club Grounds, 3420 East Valley Parkway 92027; From SR 78 East: Ends at Broadway, Turn right on Broadway, Go to Washington and turn left. Go 4.2 miles to East Valley Parkway and turn left. Look for signs for Mayflower Dog Park on the left. From I-15 Southbound: Exit El Norte Parkway. Turn Left (east) onto El Norte Parkway. Go to Ash Street and turn right. Go to Washington Ave and turn left. From Washington turn left on East Valley Parkway. Look for signs for Mayflower Dog Park on left. From I-15 Northbound: Exit Via Rancho Parkway, Go North for about 5 miles on Via Rancho Parkway which becomes Bear Valley Parkway. Turn right onto E. Valley Parkway. Go about 1 mile and look for signs for Mayflower Dog Park on left. www.hvoc.org

Originally bred to retrieve from water, the modern Labrador Retriever has proven to be one of the most versatile breeds, excelling in hunt tests and field trials, in obedience and agility events, and also as service dogs. The ancestor of the Labrador Retriever was the St. John's Retriever, a smaller version of the Newfoundland. The Labrador Retriever was recognized by the United Kennel Club in 1947. |
